Light artist & set designer

Iris Halden

I bend daylight and stage light into colour you can walk through. Installations, theatre sets and slow workshops on glass.

About Iris

Iris works between the gallery and the theatre wing. She uses cut glass, haze and slow-moving lamps to make rooms that change colour as the day goes on.

This page collects her current work, learning resources and the best ways to visit the studio.

Spectrum Room

A single beam passes through a column of hand-cut glass and spreads across white walls. The colour moves as the sun does, so each hour looks a little different. The opening dates will be shared here first.
